First thing - I need to change the banner, but part of its not jpeg - firefox recognises it as a php file?

 

What would be the best way to implement forums?

 

How do you edit the company description details and the contact information it is currently:

E-mail: [email protected]

 

Toll Free: 1-800-555-55-55

 

How can I change this to make it my own info?

All of the company info can easily be edited in the admin panel. Easiest way to change the oscommerce logo from the top is to upload your new banner as oscommerce.gif in your images folder and overwrite the old one.

I cant find it anywhere in the admin Cpanel and where abouts would the image be? index_html/images? becuase there is nothing in there called oscommerce.gif

Its going to be in whatever folder you uploaded oscommerce in. If you kept it in the "/catalog" directory, it will be:

 

index_html/catalog/images

 

It will be in whatever folder you installed your store in.

I found it, it was called 'main.jpeg' but I still cant find how to edit company info.

I get a field saying 'Store adress and phone' but i dont want to add an adress or phone number just an email so I just put an email there and it dosnt change anything?
