Andrew.S Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Okay, At http://www.dgamesky.com/dgold_about.php they got a point system thing like when someone orders and their orders go into processing it gives them the points and it will add a thing into the header at the top inside my account is says DGold System(DreamGameSky Gold System) so how can i do that and on the right side it adds a link to the point system underneath my account link. Like at http://www.swagvault.com/news.php?news_id=85 and http://www.dgamesky.com/dgold_about.php they got a table and everything made. what contribution is that? What template is www.dgamesky.com or www.swagvault.com using? What contribution is this image using for my account area? I am just trying to establish a virtual currency shop just trying to get the template they got and the etc.. I will love you if you help me find the contribution's.
b101aa2 Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 They are using a Joomla content management system and osc is being ran inside it via a joomla/osc bridge. For some it works well, but if you are using a shared hosting account, joomla isn't good for moderate to high traffic, because it has way too many mysql requests. tested it once and I was running about 4,000 queries an hour by myself. Any cms system is totally driven from the databse and heavy requests are common.
