b101aa2 Posted May 21, 2007 Share Posted May 21, 2007 Ok, I rarely get an answer to my questions, becuase they can be somewhat brain intensive, but this one is a little toned down from my usual ones. I have been racking my brains out trying to do a permenant association between an affiliate ID and the product id, so it "always" registers in affiliate sales when a product is ordered. Not be Ref= links and banner links. So far, I have created an additional field in products and made the association there and in a bunch of hybrid pages, but where do I need to associate this in functions, classed, or even application top to refer it that the affiliate_id in products always mime's a Ref= affiliate id instead, so when checkout occurs, it will always be entered into the affiliate sales system as well as the standard sales system. This way, it doesn't matter, the affiliate who owns teh product itself will always receive their appropriate commission rates. Not a register sales affiliate like other systems. Any help?
