Contentking Posted May 20, 2007 Share Posted May 20, 2007 Hi all, OK, so I have taken a flash navigation bar that I have on my main site and inserted it in to the headers.php file so that it appears on all my shop pages also. This is because my main site leads in to the shop rather than being part of it. I have used the active X javescript workaround to call an external Javascript file which writes the embed code back to headers. This JS file resides in my www root directory, and the flash resides in in the root/flash directory. To reference these (and the other pages that the menu items call, I am using the full path (i.e. http://mydomain.com/thisjsfile.js etc). Now here is where I am getting stuck! The flash file works fine when I first link in from my website to the store. The flash appears and all the navigation buttons work (some linking back to my website and some to other places internally within the shop). I can chop between internal pages and on each page the menu appears and works fine. That is until I place an item in my basket!!! As soon as I put an item in the basket, the flash menu still appears, but does not do anything when I click any of the buttons. I find this wierd as the links are within the flash assigned to the buttons and the flash is there so I do not understand why it would not work?? Does anyone have any ideas or has experienced anything like this themselves? I would appreciate your help as I am fairly new to oscommerce. Many thanks CK. Contentking Posted May 22, 2007 Author Share Posted May 22, 2007 Could really do with some help on this as its twisting my melon :wacko: Essentially the flash navigates fine until you use any of the main pages navigation then it renders the flash so that none of buttons work. The flash movie / nav bar is still there but it just doesn't work. You can view an example here (and sorry this is still under construction so there are a lot of broken links). When you hit the home page, click on Store in the tope Flash Nav bar, then when the store opens, click on any link other than those in the flash header, then try using the flash again.... http://www.elearningcontentking.com Thanks in advance for your help.
