Date problem

HI

 

I'm installing a store in Portuguese. The date format is normally dd/mm/yy and is like this it appears all over the site but in the customers registration, in the date of birth~I'm getting an error because the format is mm/dd/yy . It's weird because the date is display in Portuguese.

Simplest method is to go into configuration and "turn off" the need to enter date.

 

a) We really don't need it.

 

B) If we did it should be a simple dropdown choice

Thank you. In last case I'll use that method but I would like to know another way to fix this making it works ;)

Hi, I'm having exactly the same problem as Rui and i would really like to know where can i change the date format due to legal reasons. Law demands so :P So any help will be appreciated.
