stanleymog Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Hi, I have set up an extra page for my store as I am donating a percentage of sales from my store and an auction website to the NSPCC charity. The problem I am having is when I put in a pound sign it displays as £, Does anyone have any idea how to correct this? Thanks in advance
Guest Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Looks like there is  If that is before your pound sign remove it.
wildchief Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 this is a pain in the arse and it only effects us UK users. I find it when ever i switch hosts. It appears to be related to UTF encoding. Anyway I found that my £ sign has that silly symbol infront of it £. I fixed it by checking the admin page and found that somehow that symbol had put itself infront of currencies in the symbol left section. deleting it fixedthe problem. I also found that the mysql database had the annoying symbol embedded in some areas. so i had export the database remove the symbol then reimport the database. If you want some help e-mail me on david AT davidstclair.co.uk and I might be able to sort you out Ta
