Hi,

I have set up an extra page for my store as I am donating a percentage of sales from my store and an auction website to the NSPCC charity.

The problem I am having is when I put in a pound sign it displays as £,

Does anyone have any idea how to correct this?

Thanks in advance

this is a pain in the arse and it only effects us UK users. I find it when ever i switch hosts. It appears to be related to UTF encoding. Anyway I found that my £ sign has that silly symbol infront of it £. I fixed it by checking the admin page and found that somehow that symbol had put itself infront of currencies in the symbol left section. deleting it fixedthe problem. I also found that the mysql database had the annoying symbol embedded in some areas. so i had export the database remove the symbol then reimport the database. If you want some help e-mail me on david AT davidstclair.co.uk and I might be able to sort you out
