what to change my db password for oscommerce

Hello everyone,

 

The place that designed my template for osc is now done. How do i change the password of the db file? It is just as easy as loggin in with phpmyadmin and changing the password?

 

Or is there something in osc i have to change first.

 

I deleted the install dir, so how do i make sure i dont crash osc before i change the password in mysql?

phpmyadmin and also catalog/includes/configure.php and

catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

Your host may have a database password feature used instead of phpmyadmin
