Hi,

 

Basically instead of the 3 products on a row display on specials.php I want the first product to be on it's own row (the first row) centered and made bigger than the rest - i.e. double the size image/text etc, and then the standard 3 products on a row again underneath. I have some ideas as to how to do certain bits but am not sure whether it is achieveable or not? Has anyone got any pointers, can it all be done in specials.php?

OK, I gave this a try and managed to get this, this displays the first product in the center with an image twice the size of the normal ones, with a different (bigger)style of text. Only problem is the first product shows on top row center and then again on next row normal size but it's not much of a problem. I added the $specials_split_special and repeated a bit of code, I'm sure this isn't the best way to do it but is it 'safe' to use?

try this

 

find the following in specials.php file and comment the line

I tried following that logic but couldn't get it to work - i think my row numbers were wrong - anyway thank you very much! Works great and is a lot neater!
