braduk2k Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Heres the situation, I currently have a page of forms, the user inputs the details and then clicks submit - the data is then emailed to myself and the user given a Thank-You message which is generated from the same page, assuming the submission of data has been successful. (The page is to submit diet requests by the way) Now i am aware that oscommerce has a refer a friend module allready installed which can be used in the infobox's but we have chosen not to use this as it has been ineffective. Now the question i have is, once the user has successfully submitted the data, i would then like them to be given the option of refering a freind to the diet request service. How can this be done ? Guest Posted May 24, 2007 Posted May 24, 2007 For diet requests would be better if you store the input data in the database. You may want to process them later on. Anyways to answer your question, you could alter the tell a friend form for such purposes. If you rename the strings of the form to show a different message you could achieve exactly what you're looking for. Also do a search for "tell a friend" in the contributions section, there is a bunch of modules that can enhance this functionality. http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,666
