This is my new perfume site. Im not launching till the 1st July 2006, just want to rectify any mistakes i come across.

the layout is a template, so not much there to comment.

 

You may want to add information pages, about the privacy, shipping, company info stuff like that improves trust with customers. You may also need to add the company address/details.

 

Using one of the SEO link related contributions will also help exposure.

Well it may be a template but it looks nice and it's quite nippy given the amount of products.

Check http://validator.w3.org/ and sort those out

 

Images are too big (I'm talking size in KB) install "on the fly thumbnail contrib"

I see... so that's where you're checking the timings from and was wondering. But using this thing, shows the SSL pages come at exactly the same speed/timings as the NON-SSL pages. And that looks dubious to me these figures aren't right. See for yourself:

Some points

 

Your font size is too small hard to read

 

Currencies drop down is useless bcs ur only accepting british pounds

 

On the product description page “Add To Cart” button seems to be distorted – probably a resolution mismatch.

 

Thumbnail pictures have jagged edges – great if u can improve the quality

 

“Specials” and “Contact Us” links are lost in the little menu on the top. Give “specials” a big link in a more visible area. Put “Contact Us” and “About Us” links in the bottom menu.

 

Other than that everything seems to be ok. I like the colours and simplicity.
