Guest Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 There are too many damn columns in the default file layout for Easy Populate. My question is: I already have a good layout from another catalog. I am going to comment out all of the headers that I don't use. But are there any that NEED to be in there for my store to work right? For instance, I want my items available for sale the minute they're uploaded, so my Date Added column will either never be used or will always be the day the item is uploaded. If I delete it out of Easy Populate, will it wreak havoc on my products? Also, in previous posts, I've seen what looked to be uploading problems resulting from custom file layouts. Will this be a problem now and if so, how do i combat it?
Guest Posted May 17, 2007 Posted May 17, 2007 All you really need is the model number "v_products_model" and the end tag "EOREOR". The rest are optional.
