Guest
My host company has recently undergone a server migration to a data center based here in the UK. Everything was working fine the last time I checked the site (before the migration), and now it seems everything has gone belly up! I get the following message when placing a test order (I do all test orders using a live server and not sandbox etc): Fatal error: Call to undefined function: curl_init() in /home/tease/public_html/includes/modules/payment/paypal_wpp/PayflowPro_HTTP.php on line 232 There was another issue in the .htaccess file about register_globals which is now fixed, it seems that all the lines in that file have been commented out with '#'. when the register_globals is un-commented out, the site was back, but when I un-commented out the rest i got a whole load of internal server errors! Not sure if the problems are linked but worth a shot! I'm using Paypal Website Pyments Pro Has anybody got any ideas? Its beggining to become a VERY agrevating problem! Guest
This suggests that the host has installed PHP without cURL support. Go into your osc admin, Tools>Server Info and look for a section for curl - if missing I would speak to your host company

I have since sent an email to the host company explaining the situation, and that I expect a result pronto! without cURL support is there anyway the site can still function? or is it a neccessity? Guest
The site will work fine but some of the more sophisticated payment modules require cURL to function.
Guest
The site will work fine but some of the more sophisticated payment modules require cURL to function. The site is now back up and running again. My host company fixed the cURL error, and I've performed a live transaction to test it. many thanks for your help on this! You are a lifesaver! kind regards Mark
