create account page missing when trying to create an account

Please help - I am not sure what happened but my create account page is missing from my store (soon to be store). Everything seems to work fine untill you try to create an account from either the index page or from the login page.

The page seems to load but there is nothing there...

the create_account.php script is there but maybe you did changes to it and there are php errors. You can backup the one you have and try the stock create_account.php see if the problem goes away.

If it does review the mods you did to that file

Thanks enigma1. I have managed to get my create_account.php page working but I am still having the problem with my account.php page. I have tried everything including loading up a new account.php from a fresh install but still nothing. When I load up the page - it is just blank, when I view the source code from the website - there's nothing there however, it is fully coded in my database. I am sure there is just something simple I'm missing but sure could use the help from an expert set of eyes.

yea, it's not that file the problem, is likely some other support file that you changed and is used by the main scripts.

what happens if you comment out this code from the file you posted

$navigation->set_snapshot();
tep_redirect(tep_href_link(FILENAME_LOGIN, '', 'SSL'));
 }

does it work?

Thanks for the reply - when I comment that out - it does take me to a new screen where it looks like I should be able to get into my account to make changes etc... Hoiwever, NONE of those links work (Acc't Edit, Password, History, Newsletters, Notifications or Address book)????

Any Ideas??

check the class files did you make changes to navigation_history.php?

unfortunatley no. I have gone back and checked each file I have modified via contributions and all seems fine - I have not touched the navigation_history file.

I was simply doing some final touch-ups before going live (removing box corners etc..) when "it" happened???

Just to close this out...

I could not locate the source of the proble so I had to do a restore of the catlog before I pulled all my hair out!
