1 problem 1000 question No Answer

Hallo

 

I have read the forums for this problem but I couldn't find any answers. There are several Questions but no Answer.

I will be very happy if someone can help me.

 

email send doesn't work by me. (oscommerce 2.2) my shop is on windows server. I use a smtp server which needs authentication.

 

I have found 2 contribution for the authentication and tried both but no success :(

 

can anybody explain me how should I do the settings. The followings are meins :

 

I have installed the smtp authenticator contribution

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,901 (the last version)

 

in php.ini :

 

SMTP = my smtp server

smtp_port = 25

sendmail_from = my email address by this server

 

in admin part I have the following options

--my store

---- E-Mail Address : the same within the php.ini file (sendmail_from)

---- E-Mail From : the same within the php.ini file (sendmail_from)

 

--E-Mail Options

----E-Mail Transport Method smtp

----E-Mail Linefeeds CRLF

----Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails false

----Verify E-Mail Addresses Through DNS true

----Send E-Mails true

----SMTP Server Host address (the same in the php.ini file)

----SMTP Server Helo (name ISP default empty) blank

----SMTP Server Port (default 25) address 25

----SMTP Server use password address true

----SMTP E-mail Username myusername by smtp server

----SMTP E-mail Password my password by smtp server

----SMTP Name address to use protocol SMTP the same within the php.ini file (sendmail_from)

 

if I try this I get the message "your mail is succesfully sent" by I didn#t get any Email

 

please help
