znth Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 Hi, I have uploaded my oscommerce folders to my website, when I type www.mysite.co/shop/install I get the "FATAL ERROR: register_globals is disabled in php.ini, please enable it!" So I do enable it, then I get a server error. Same as when I use the workaround from the contrib section. I have a custom oscommerce website that I purchased from monstertemplate. Any help appreciated. And if possible is there actually a good install guide around? Something which has all the steps needed to get an oscommerce site installed, setting the permissions for various files and the like. The original documentation skips over almost everything. cheers. znth Posted May 16, 2007 Author Share Posted May 16, 2007 If I try anything, even changing file permission of instlal folder I get: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. ------- I havn't changed or done anything to my webhost files, am I supposed to?
