Orders not displaying in admin panel

Guest

Recommended Posts

Ive done a lot of searching on this issue and I have not really found a definate solution to this problem:

Orders are placed (using paypal). Everything goes through wonderfully, orders are added to database just fine. Login to admin area and there are absolutely no orders listed. Go to customers, click on orders, and no orders are listed.

Anybody have a fix for this??

Thanks

Check your orders statuses. Do they still exists? This happened to me and this was the problem.

Under orders in the admin panel, I can choose any order status- pending, processing, etc. and none of them show any orders...

If you go into the SQL database and see what the order ID is, then go to the admin panel and manually enter that order ID, it will display fine. However, you can select view all orders, pending, processing, or delivered and it will not show anything.

Have you installed the Paypal IPN? This captures the order details prior to the customers leaving the site as otherwise without it if they do not return to your site following payment then nothing is posted to admin.

yes, and I actually placed the order myself and went back to the site and it still did not show up in admin.

Thank you all for your help thus far...

Sorry I posted just before your last post! In that case is it showing up in the database as an incomplete order which is why it does not belong to any of the categories in admin?

If so then it is perhaps on the paypal site that you need to ensure that you have set the url etc correctly to ensure that the order gets updated and posted to admin.

I'm no expert so maybe someone will know better....

  • 1 year later...

i just started having this same problem on a store i built. i think it MIGHT have something to do with postage not being processed correctly since the last order to display correctly shows the postage on the invoice in the admin panel, but all those after do not.

did anyone ever resolve the issue? can anyone offer help?
