Hade
I'm currently working hard to improve my conversion rate. My overall site conversion rate is 0.78% Conversion rate from organic Google searches is: 1.97% Conversion rate from Google Adwords is: 0.36% (Google Analytics gives you these stats) I was just wondering how everyone elses site is doing, and if anyone has any tips they'd like to share. I had a pop-up offering a free download in exchange for the visitors email address which proved a success in collecting email addresses, but it really hit my conversion rate hard! so I removed it pronto. I've heard that coupon codes can cause checkout abandonment as people go and search for free coupon codes, but my Google Analytics shows I have no particular problem with abandonment on that page. Wow, 4% conversions? are you sure you mean conversions and not CTR? I've read a lot on Adwords and I'm implementing steps to ensure I'll get the most from it. I have highly specific keywords with plenty of negative keywords. Please bare in mind that different industries naturally have different conversions rates.
