Modules are not available

Hello,

I finally got my cart up and running on test data, and now that I am trying to tailor it to my needs, I find out that none of my modules are available in OS Commerce.

 

Even the built in payment modules do not appear in the admin section. I have read the documentation, and I do not see the "green dots" to activate any module, in fact, there are no modules even listed.

 

There are no options in the payment modules, the shipping modules, or anything else.

 

I need to set up processing with USAEpay and Paypal, and shipping with UPS and USPS.

 

 

Background:

 

When I was installing my store, I found out that the install process was not writing to the configuration.php files, so I had to manually enter all the information on those pages concerning my database.

 

I would guess that this problem is related, however, I do not know what pages I need to edit to allow options for modules to be shown or edited.

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

btw, I have tried all of the modules for USAEpay, and with the same results for each.

Also, and probably related, I cannot upload images of products.

 

I can add or delete products and categories just fine, but I cant get it to accept images.
