Where do I edit the Welcome page text?

Where do I change the $content of the welcome screen?

I'm still trying to get my head round where things are kept!

What is it that tells the browser it's on the welcome screen therefore put the welcome page into the $content area?

Is it litterally just the one template page for STS, to then translate every other page to look the same?

I see some other sts_templates, for example content/product_info.php_29.html etc, but are these not used unless you've specified you'd like to take over the control of these too? What does php29 mean anyway!?

Hello Ben and welcome to the world of osCommerce.

First...Please post all future questions related to STS in the STSv4 Forum (see link in my signature below).

Second...To have the most success using STS, a good knowledge of how osCommerce flows is crucial. For example: You need to know what the product and category pages are called (index.php, cpath=1, products_id=26, etc.). This will help you when creating your template pages for specific pages in your shop. The STS User Manual will help you understand this concept as well as just browsing through a stock osC shop and putting your mouse over the different products and categories and noticing the link.

Hope this helps,

Bill Kellum
