Mooncradle Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 I've got oscommerce all installed and I've deleted /install, however I know need to change the permissions on some of the files according to the documentation so how do you go about doing this? Guest Posted May 15, 2007 Share Posted May 15, 2007 Using dreamweaver, see if you can set the file attributes (same as file permissions). If not, you should use an FTP program to do so. Guest Posted May 16, 2007 Share Posted May 16, 2007 You can download a reliable open source ftp client for Microsoft based PC's at http://filezilla.sourceforge.net/. Once you are logged in to your site from filezilla, you can change file and directory permissions by right clicking the item and selecting File Attributes... Pretty straight forward.
