Guest
I'm trying to install osCommerce through an ftp connection, got the catalog copied onto my server, but I can't seem to get the application installed through my web browser. I've tried both IE and Firefox, to no avail. When I type in the url, I've tried two different options: www.sitename.net/catalog/install/ & www.sitename.net/osCommerce/ I've seen both of the methods used in a video tutorial, as well as from the osCommerce site itself, and both fail. If there is any suggestions on what I'm doing wrong, I'd be more than happy to hear about it. Thank you

Guest
Add install.php to the end of the above urls.ie www.sitename.net/catalog/install/install.php or www.sitename.net/osCommerce/install/install.php most likley the first one I figured out what went wrong. Turned out that I was using a different directory than what the client had put the site to. I have resolved this issue, and now I'm working on getting the database to link through Doteasy.
