New Payment dummy

Hi

 

Effectively I want to create another dummy payment route. I have used the moneyorder.php for cheques/postal orders & I have used the cod.php All I want is another cod type button for international customers. I do not want them being charged a P&P(sorted) when they order or having to pay.

 

Can I just duplicate the inc/lang/english/modules/payments/cod.php & rename international.php please? Are there any other files I need to duplicate & rename?

OK I have looked & looked & these are the only files I have found that I "THINK" I need to amend & upload. Please agree/disagree as I am just guessing! :-"

 

includes/modules/payment/moneyorder.php

Change all "moneyorder/MONEYORDER" references to "international/INTERNATIONAL"

Re-name includes/modules/payment/international.php

Upload to same place

 

includes/language/english/modules/payment/moneyorder.php

Change text to required text

Change all "moneyorder/MONEYORDER" references to "international/INTERNATIONAL"

Re-name includes/language/english/modules/payment/international.php

Upload to same place

 

Probably have to install in ADMIN?

 

Am I missing something...as I feel I am :huh:

Any suggestions please? Adding a page has more stages, but I haven't done anything to the payments before other than edit the existing ones. I could just do it, but talking to yourself doesn't do much for your confidence! :-"

For anyone reading my monologue & possibly wanting an answer (I might not be the only one ;) ) ...this does in a way work. :lol: I have extra text I don't need in admin, but I'm not messing with the code!
