U_Go_Girl Posted May 14, 2007 Share Posted May 14, 2007 l have some inquiry .... and l hope someone can help me on this. 1) On the main page when they see the product and click on it to see the product description- why is there no product picture shown?Just the text of it description lt not there anymore(disappeared) Before l re-install Os- l recalled that l be able to see the product picture and be able to click enlarge for a good look at it but it all gone now.... How can l get it back? 2) How can l maximise the weight? As l want maximum up to 3kgs only.When l insert a product 4kg to test and it said "no shipping method is available"? lf it is in Shipping/Packaging-Enter maximum package u will ship- default are 50 and l change it to 3, it still wont work. For example - 1kg $5, 2kg $10, 3kg $15 How can we comment to 3kg $15+1kg $5=$20?? Or if that method is not possible,is there anyway we could infrm customer on the same page that they have to re-order (open) to another invoice.Can someone explain to me how it works?l cant figure it out somehow 3) How can we protect our product photos and logo being copy or stolen.Could this be possible to prevent it? Hi For #3 there is a contrib called on the fly watermark but I couldn't get it to work with my own existing javascript popup, so I manually edited the included watermark.png and recorded a macro in Paintshop Pro to "hard code" the watermark in the image. HTH Ian Hi Ian ... is there a post or contrib that l can read on??? l tried to protect the file in /var/www/html/store/admin/images/ is unprotected and l set it to protect follow up by password required but l can still copy the images :o Am l looking at the wrong file or .... There have been numerous topics on this board and all say the same "you can't". Take a look at this thread. I have done some testing with clipart/icon sites that require a subscription fee to download the images. Right click gave a message saying register, I viewed the source but the pic included the watermark. I then used File > Save as and yippee!! got the image without the watermark ready to use. As I am a good citizen I quickly deleted the image, formatted the hard drive and NO I wasn't at that site, it was him, he stole my identity. :lol: My site is still in development and the stock is about half of my own 12" vinyl collection, around 540 items. I have scanned the record labels, both sides and the front and back covers of each record and spent ages trimming, rotating, making sure they are horizintal etc. As I said before, I tried the watermark contrib but decided to paste the watermark into the image Sorry for the book of a post.
