Paypal Merchant Tools, very confused!!!

hello everyone,

I have just started my first oscommerce project and I am quite lost with payment integration with oscommerce. I am based in UK and looked at Paypal, it supposrts several methods and two of them are Website Payments Standard and Website Payments Pro, the Pro account is expensive then standard account as you may already know. Therefore "standard" account would be and ideal choice but with this account customers get redirected to Paypal checkout pages hosted by Paypal, and complete their transactions from there. This brings up a question in my mind, what will happen to customers account in my own website? I mean if a customer registers on my website, will he be able to use his stored details while paying in the paypal pages? Its all so confusing because in my mind its getting hard to imagine what would happen to accounts in my website?

I would really appreciate help in this, and also any other solutions which might be better than Paypal for UK (if there are any)!

Thanks in advance!!!

when customer reaches paypal none of his details are carried so he will have to place details there.

I suggest use paypal IPN module.
