Hi everybody,

I have recently installed in local oscommerce and I have a problem with sending mail.

Using phpmailer, a simple php code for sending mail, it is ok. So, my config is not the issue.

With oscommerce, it doesn' t work. I have used :

http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,901

With this contribution, it shows that the mail was successfully sent but I received no mail (I sent it to my self).

In admin, I turned :

smtp (instead of sendmail),

CRLF, with all

mime false

dns false

email activation

SMTP Server Host address : smtp.tele2.fr

SMTP Server Helo (name ISP default empty) address :

SMTP Server Port (default 25) address : 587

SMTP Server use password address : true

SMTP E-mail Username : [email protected]

SMTP E-mail Password : ***

SMTP Name address to use protocol SMTP : [email protected]

If somebody can help me !

Thanks a lot.

Ok Guys,

I haven't seen the phpMailer4osC contribs : http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...h,phpmailer4osc

it works, the mails format is a bit weird, that 's all. I hope the smtp authentification will be solved in the next contrib

just recommended free email server software for windows platform.

indeed, only config it as email sends and relay(via) your ISP mail server.

i am using Appserv(LAMP server package) + Mecury mail server
