log-in and ssl =images not loading= possible solution

Hi everyone,

this is my first ever forum contribution, I hope I have done it properly.

I have had difficulty getting any images to load on the ssl side of my catalog. As soon as I chose "log in" or "create an account", when the relevant ssl page loaded, there were no images showing, not even the little corner .gif images on the boxes. I knew it had to be something simple because I hadn't fiddled with any code anywhere (... I don't know how to!). Eventually, I found that if you have "Hotlink protection" enabled in C/Panel (assuming you have C/Panel) you need to add the http:// url of your server and the https:// url of your server. This did it for me!
