Language/index.php Not Showing On Mainpage

Hello,

Can someone please explain how to modify the index.php (root) so that the default language/index.php is used?

I'm using a template, on the mainpage i didnt get the normal standard index page you get with welcome user, would you like to create an account etc etc etc but instead i have a mainpage with "new products" I managed to remove the new products but still ended up with an empty page and not the standard index page.

I just want the default english/index.php (see below) to appear on domain.com. So i can start building the index.

The language files are where constants are defined, that are called from the corresponding root file. The constant that has that text, in includes/languages/english/index.php, is named TEXT_MAIN and is usually called from index.php, where the default page starts, by echoing the constant. i.e. <?php echo TEXT_MAIN; ?>.

Look down your code for // default page and in particular this bit:

<table border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" align="center" class="box_width_cont">

<?php include(DIR_WS_MODULES . FILENAME_UPCOMING_PRODUCTS);?>
</table>

Try to echo the constant from there to see the result. Also add some cells to that table:

Thank you verry much! It worked! Finaly i can start building the index:) One little problem left do, maybe you know the solution as well: On every catagorie page the "whats new" box is called as well, i have an extra box at the botom.
