remove catalog box, add directly to column left

Hi

 

Just wondering if it was possible - I want to have the left column just catalog and therefore I dont want the box, and then

I can have all css style full width of the column . I think I am almost there but

 

 tep_show_category($first_element); 

 $info_box_contents = array();
 $info_box_contents[] = array('text' => $categories_string);

// new [b]infoBox($info_box_contents)[/b];

 

but inside of the info box contents to show I need to write in a different format

 

as print($info_box_contents) , something like that?

 

can anyone help me with this, any ideas ?? would be appreciated..
