♥FWR Media
I think noone is answering because it doesn't seem to make sense (not to me anyway). It looks as though PHP is not functioning on the server, but if that were the case then how did you install it?? Guest
Ah i added the lines put above and i get this now: Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available in the server error log. Im assuming ive installed something wrong.... but i dont know what....how do i pinpoint my error? swscoobies
I think their is something wrong in the setup files. i have just copied the files from a previous install on my old server and run the setup from this, and it is now working. I deleted the file i have unzipped the osc file again, uploaded to another directory, run through setup again, blank screen re-appears. the setup file i have is oscommerce-2.2ms2-060817 not sure what the old one is. Guest
Ive noticed that when i put those lines into my .htaccess screen it doesnt allow me access to my admin screen either.... however when i take them out i can access my admin screen but get a blank catalog/index.php screen.... Im a newbie at oscommerce and dont understand what is going on at all... I would appreciate if anyone has encountered this problem and overcome it to get in touch and help me before this computer goes out the window! :) Thanks
Guest
So are you saying we need to download the newer version of osCommerce and install that one instead?

Guest
I was just revisiting the installation and (stupid of me) realised ive not installed the 'Extras' directory anywhere... also i have a list of files directly under the main oscommerce folder once ive unzipped it. I have: catalog (which i uploaded everything into my root) extras (of which i cannot find any documentation telling me exactly where to put this) changelog license stadard update-200608817.txt Obvioulsy i know what to do with th catalog folder, but is there anything important i need to do with the other files which could perhaps explain why im getting the blank screen? swscoobies
Send me a P.M with your email address. I will zip the files i have and upload them to my server, then email you a link to download them. just overwrite all the files on your server. I will delete the image folders, and style sheet. as mine are edited to my design.
