Guest
Hi guys, I was wondering if any of you have experience with installing oscommerce? Ive created a domain and have webspace, bought a template and looked through the utility of installation but it doesnt work. Im using an ftp (cuteftp) and have ttransfered the folder (now renamed shop) to my director of (root)/web/content/shop (nb the folders web and content cannot be edited and file/folders cannot be stored in / just /web/content/ ) anyway, the opened browser, and typed: www.fabulousface.co.uk/web/content/shop/install/ no page loads I type: www.fabulousface.co.uk/web/content/shop/install/install.php and a message appears saying "no input file specified" any ideas out there?? oschellas
Still think you are uploading to a wrong location since the directories don't exist on the server. If you would pm me ftp access i could have a look.
bzboy
You also may want to check with your host. Many hosts offer shopping cart installs from the cpanel...I had the same trouble and was able to get it to install from there
