Idea: Display product_info if only one match in search criteria

I noticed that our customers often enter search terms which only yield one result in the display.

The search page shows them one item and they have to click on it to see the product.

 

Has anyone written code that simply takes the user to the product_info page of the searched term if only one product is available?

 

It would eliminate one click to see the product and make ordering even easier. ;)
