Quantity Controller missing functions

I just DLd Quanity Controller 5.0 and its patches. When I apply all the changes and move the files into place, I get the following errors in the admin pages:

 

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_array_merge() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/catalog/admin/categories.php on line 1058

 

I have also received other undefined function errors with this contribution looking for

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: tep_get_free_charger() in /home/xxxxx/public_html/catalog/includes/modules/payment/authorizenet.php on line 22

 

I did a search from my root web directory and could not find any declaration of either of these functions anywhere. I double checked that I installed the classes folder that came with it, and nothing.

 

Does anyone know where these functions are defined?

 

I am looking for rebates and volume discounting, and this seems to have what I want if I can get the thing to work!
