Guest
Folks, I've installed UltimateSEO 2.1d with the 3/13 fix to the seo.class.php fix. When I finished the install, all of my on-line pages disappeared, and there is no entry in the control panel. Here's what I've checked, based on all the entries I could find here: 1. double checked all file mods uisng WinDiff - seems OK. 2. verified DB tables updated with new fields - created, but not filled with data 3. verified Mod Rewrite is enabled on our Apache server 4. configuration > my store > user search engine safe urls = off 5. verfied default osc cache is disabled. 6. I don't see any additional dirs or files to indicate any caching has occured. Can someone give me a hint as to where to start poking? Two things I can think of, but dont' know how to run down: 1. what dirs/files are created that need the 'Mod Rewrite' - I can then verify if they are created, or perhaps create the structure manually. 2. what files create the control panel entries? I can then try to determine why they are not appearing. thanks for any advice!
♥Vger
You have got the .htaccess file correctly set up? Have you checked your error log? Mod Rewrite takes different forms - your server may still not be suitable for using Ultimate SEO URL's If there are no control panel entries then it's just not installed - because they appear when the site is loaded and Ultimate SEO URL's runs for the first time. Vger Ah, thanks. I had a typo in the .htaccess file. All of the pages seem to be caching except the 'buy now' buttons in the catalog. Any ideas?
