Help Needed Orders not showing up in admin

Hi all,

 

Ive just had a customer buy some goods from me via paypal yet i have no orders showing on my admin section and the paypal receipt has no details of what they have ordered, this is the first payment to go via paypal so i need to get it sorted but have no idea how,

 

I just did a test order using the payment method of money order /cheque and i this order showed up ok in the admin section but still no sign of the paypal order

any help is much appreciated

Well documented paypal problem - take a look through the support threads.

 

You will need to install the paypal IPN. In the meantime you can install master password contribution to take a look at the customers basket.

stupid question:

 

is there like a tutorial on how to install these contributions as i am very dense and barely managed to sort my shop out lol

Lol I was equally dense but keep reading the forums and you do learn!

 

Just find the contribution and follow (usually very good) instructions. Any install problems you come accross have usually already been documented so take a look in the contribution support thread if you have any.

 

Just remember the golden rule to take a back up copy of any file first and then you can happily play :thumbsup:
