Sudden loss of cart & account sections

Guest

Recommended Posts

I have suddenly lost the checkout, account, sections of the cart.

I have uploaded a back up version but that did not help?

I have two shopping carts, one is working fine, the other is not. I have spent all day trying to locate and fix the problem, I can't seem to find anyone with similar problems.

Perhaps someone would be kind enough to check the site or tell me what I should do to locate the problem.

The URL is Visit My Website

I could not edit that post, but should have explained that customers can select products, but cant go to the checkout or access their account?

you need to figure out what is the secure path. (does your host has the shared ssl as shown/configured for your store?)

Some hosts use different folders for secure, non-secure pages. If that is happening there, I would strongly recommend to change hosts.

OK. I recently changed server account name >_<

So how do I modify the secure path in the cart?

This might be the problem.

Do I re-install the cart and will I loose the data base?

check your configure.php files

catalog\includes\configure.php

catalog\admin\includes\configure.php

should match your server, domains, paths etc.

Thanks enigma1

there was an incorrect host path in the includes\configure.php, from the change over.

I did not know where to look, but thanks to you the problem has been located and corrected.

Thanks again

Kev
