Unable to determine the page link! / input in flex scanner

My first tries with tep-pre2.1 completely failed.

 

System:

Apache 1.3.27

PHP 4.2.2 (register global variables: off) (CGI)

MySQL 2.23.48

 

Requesting

admin/default.php

results in following errors in the logfile:

PHP Fatal error: input in flex scanner failed in /home/phoenix-it/www/shop/admin/includes/languages/english on line 1

 

and of course a white page.

 

Requesting

catalog/default.php

shows a page with the error:

 

Error!

 

Unable to determine the page link!

The two application_top files are:

 

http://phoenix-it.ch/data/application_top....hp.catalog.phps

http://phoenix-it.ch/data/application_top.....php.admin.phps

 

(passwords blanked by me)

MySQL Server is located in an DMZ/Access is possible/phpmyadmin works without problems

 

 

Someone an idea?

i got the same prob, but cant help you cuz my english in bad, you can read it all yourself by

going to the search and write in "input in flex scanner failed"

 

you will find lots posts about this

Weell i installed the daily cvs snapshot of 2.2 and this works (after enabling global register) without problems.
