Can you COPY an entire (sub) Category intact to a different category?

I am trying to COPY an entire (sub) category from an existing category to another category intact... The only option is to MOVE. Help would be appreciated.

Hi Sharon,

 

Do you have easy populate installed?

 

If you do you can download the whole file of products, then just make some minor adjustments to achieve this.

 

Find the products you need in the file, copy and paste them to the bottom of the list. Change the folder to the one you require, then just add a letter or number on to the end of the product name on the far left hand side (note do not do this to the pictures as you will have to re- upload them).

 

Upload the file via your easy populate console, and hey presto!

 

You will see that they have been added as new products under a different sub category (the one you chose)

Kelly, can you explain this please... are you saying that it will update based on the fact there are new product names? as I thought it was based on model number not product name
