missbdesign
This is my first time using OsCommerce. After launching a web store for a client, and with a few successful test purchases, the client realized orders were being processed through paypal but we could not see the orders in the admin section, or even in the phpadmin/mysql database. After our first successful paypal order (which appeared in the admin and database successfully), the only change I made was the addition of a printable invoice feature (not sure exactly which) I decided to re-install a backed up version of the store, to no avail. Orders still aren't showing. I've had to resort to emailing the customer to ask them what they purchased. (not the best solution) I've been browsing the forums for answers and haven't seemed to come across to much that was helpful for my situation. Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so, any solutions? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

crash3903
You need to install an ipn contribution. The reason for this is because when a customer clicks to go to paypal the orders table is not updated until they return to your store - sounds like they may have closed the window before returning There are quite a few to choose from Regards Mark A Reynolds
