blueantz
I'm planning on using paypal as my only method of receiving payment. Can someone recommend any pointers I should follow. I know that oscommerce already integrates paypal as a payment option. And I'm wondering if I even need to apply anything else to get this to work. Are buyers directed to paypal's checkout page or do they stay on my checkout page? Do I need to apply any contributions available to have buyers remain on my checkout page? What about PayPal Express Checkout IPN Payment Module? Is anyone using this? Should I install this? Since Paypal is only method to make payment, is there any way to disable account creation when user goes to checkout? I'm aware of the PWA contribution. But, is there anyone out there that is actually using this contribution successfully? I'm just trying to make payment section fast and quick for my buyers. But, I also want it to be safe and reliable. I don't want to have customers have to enter information twice.
Jack_mcs
If you use paypal standard, you should install the paypal IPN contribution. The customers will be directed to paypal with that option. If you want them to stay on your site, you need paypal pro. But there is a monthly charge from paypal for that. They have an ongoing deal for osCommerce users. It is a real merchant account with lower fees.
