Delivery Methods... help!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

Problem with the shipping module of the shop.

I'm using Table Rate for the United Kingdom (my own country). The rates are: 0.1:0.50,1.0:2.00,5.0:8.00, 10.0:16.00

And I'm using a flat rate for the Rest of the World.

Now I've set the UK and Rest of the World up as Countries and Zones and assigned them to the delivery methods. However, when I make a test order, shipping is not added.

Anybody had this problem? Any ideas?

Cheers

Hello Garry

Can you give your web address so we might also try to test buy and see where your problem is originating?

Right, I think you need to upload & overwrite the following folder: includes/classes

After you've done this get back to me & I'll run another test.

Will do... how long are you on for? I'll be as quick as poss. :) Thanks again.

I've replaced the folder completely. Could you try it again now for me please?

Cheers

Aaarrrggghhh!!!! Now you've got the following warning:

Warning: main(includes/classes/shopping_cart.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/cherrytr/public_html/shop/includes/application_top.php on line 123

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/classes/shopping_cart.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/cherrytr/public_html/shop/includes/application_top.php on line 123

Have you modified you site in any way?

Everything is back to how it was previously but I'm still not being asked for shipping. Are you sure you have enabled both rates through your admin section? Please check for me.

It's all enabled... could you log in and check that I'm not making (another) stupid mistake?

Can you please upload & overwrite virgin copies of checkout_process.php and checkout_shipping.php

I believe these 2 files hold the key to why shipping is not being offered.
