Ok , l have re-install Oscommerce 2.2 fresh from the oven as l mess up big time previously and after reading from the forum with soo much complicated about it all, l decided to refresh it and to my surprised Why am l still having problems???Do l mess up the installation in someways??? lt cant be??! cause what l did was just over-write everything :( First of all , l cant logged-in or create an account l get this error : The page cannot be found The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please try the following: If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly. Open the https://www.your.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want. Click the Back button to try another link. Click Search to look for information on the Internet. HTTP 404 - File not found Internet Explorer Huh? lt is the correct addresses but why why why ???? How do l access it or get it back again?????????? Second : Under shipping Module- l have deleted all shipping and install Zone rate and l get this error : 1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'True', 'False'), ', now())' at line 1 insert into configuration (configuration_title, configuration_key, configuration_value, configuration_description, configuration_group_id, sort_order, set_function, date_added) VALUES ('Enable Zones Method', 'MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_STATUS', 'True', 'Do you want to offer zone rate shipping?', '6', '0', 'tep_cfg_select_option(array('True', 'False'), ', now()) [TEP STOP] ?????? l am truly totally confused >_< All l did was install Zone Rate :'( Can someone or expert guru's cared to explain And kind enough to show me to the right path. Guest Posted May 5, 2007 Share Posted May 5, 2007 The first thing to look at with new installations is the catalog\includes\configure.php and catalog\admin\includes\configure.php files. They have to be properly setup. Also is important to use the stock oscommerce from here http://www.oscommerce.com/solutions/downloads to do your installation.
