You need to find a company who will process the credit card sales for you. Start by doing a search for "credit card processing". Also, fees vary widely for this service, so be sure to read this article: http://www.forbes.com/entrepreneurs/2007/0...creditcard.html Generally speaking, what happens is this. After your customer finishes filling his shopping cart, he clicks on the checkout button and that leads him to a screen which gives him the choice of COD or Credit Card. On a credit card purchase, he is then transfered to the credit card processor's website where THEY collect his card information and check with his card issuer and get approval. Roughly two day later, they transfer the money into your merchant bank account. You can also collect the credit card information manually, and enter it into a terminal. But buying a terminal is expensive, and you incur added liability because you now have access to the buyer's credit card information. This is really fraught with danger. Most processors accept most, or almost all credit cards, but see no reason you couldn't find one who would collect only VISA cards for you. You could probably accomplish almost the same thing by just having text on your site that says "We accept VISA only". Just curious. Why do you want to accept visa only? Doing this, you disqualify a lot of potental customers. Also curious, why would you be interested in shipping COD? COD is a process that adds lots of risk to you, and adds perhaps $5 or so to the delivered price. A while back I had to order goods by phone for quick delivery, so had to come COD. Each box came with a separate invoice, and there was a $5 extra charge PER BOX for the COD service. I know people who've had packages they sent COD just disappear into the system, and they never collected the money. Tom
