keeganwalden
All, On my shop home page i now get the following errors. How can I fix this? Warning: Installation directory exists at: /data/7/0/48/147/374799/user/381504/htdocs/catalog/install. Please remove this directory for security reasons. Warning: I am able to write to the configuration file: /data/7/0/48/147/374799/user/381504/htdocs/catalog/includes/configure.php. This is a potential security risk - please set the right user permissions on this file. Thanks in advance
Guest
first off use your ftp program to delete the whol install directory. You don't need it anymore, now oscomm is installed. secondly you need to CHMOD the catalog/includes/configure.php. I've set mine as 704.

Guest
Have you recently uploaded files to your site? If you did perhaps you uploaded the install directory by mistake.. or maybe you never removed it after installing oscommerce. The second error.. maybe you changed permissions on them for some reason. Whatever it was the permissions were set incorrectly.

For the second warning I recommend that you change the permissions of includes/configure.php back to
