The Annoyed Man Posted May 2, 2007 Share Posted May 2, 2007 I am attempting to configure a new installation, and I am at the Categories / Products screen in catalog setup. At the top of the screen is an error message with a pink background that says: Error: Catalog images directory does not exist: /ecommerce/catalog/images/. This cannot be true, as I am also connected via FTP and looking right at the directory /ecommerce/catalog/images/ and it plainly exists. Furthermore, the images I want to link to have been uploaded and are sitting there in that directory, but I can't link them because the software does not see the directory. I have gone through a lot of trouble to get all this set up, including purchasing an SSL certificate to get around all the database security issues with the standard installation, and I would dearly love to get beyond all the silly crap so that I can develop this site to completion.
