After migration some images do not show up

I am trying to migrate an installation of about 144 shops from this environment:

FreeBSD 4.11

Apache 1.3.33

MySQL 4.1.12

PHP 4.4.2

 

to this environment:

Ubuntu server 7.04

Apache 2.2.4

MySQL 4.1.22

PHP 4.4.6

 

We're using version 1.6 or so of osCommerce. The shops all come up okay for the most part but in some areas I will click a category and the text will say I am viewing items 1-9 but the images are not displayed.

 

I am wondering if there are some incompatibilities with any of the versions of applications on our versions of MySQL, PHP, or Apache.
