Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I really don't understand the shipping table rate module. Could anyone explain how this works? The description is not clear to me.
Guest Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Set the Table Method to "weight" and then fill out the weight table. For instance: "10:9.99,20:19.99,30:29.99,40:39.99,50:49.99" It uses the weight of the entire order (everything currently in the shopping cart) to calculate the shipping charge. 0lbs to 10lbs, charge $9.99 10.1lbs to 20lbs, charge $19.99 20.1lbs to 30lbs, charge $29.99 30.1lbs to 40lbs, charge $39.99 and so on...

satish Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 Table Method Shipping Table The shipping cost is based on the total cost or weight of items. Example: 25:8.50,50:5.50,etc.. Up to 25 charge 8.50, from there to 50 charge 5.50, etc this is what you will find if you click edit. 25:8.50 means for cost/weight upto 25 shipping will be 8.50 50:5.50 measn for anything bet 25 and 50 shipping will be 5.50 so it is cost upto:shipping charges, cost upto:shipping charges. Hope this makes sense. Satish Ask/Skype for Free osCommerce value addon/SEO suggestion tips for your site. Check My About US For who am I and what My company does.
