payment solution?

I am wondering about setting up direct credit card payments

 

What do I need

 

SSL

payment gateway service and an internet merhcant account,

 

Does anyone have a solution,?

 

with paypal you get all this and you dont need a ssl as they are the secure site (or do you?) - seems a good option to me -

even better paypal set up as 'shop without account' - the rates are not that much different considering you may not have to pay 100 a year fee or the like,??

 

but what is good for customers? what do they prefer , maybe going outside the site is not good??

For a small beginning store I would recommend to use a Paypal or Google payment gateway. As your profits (hopefully) rise in the future, you are always able to purchase SSL / merchant account and upgrade your store.
