Product is 1 kilo, checkout (shipping) says 4 lbs

In products, I have given each product a weight. I've entered what I think is correct in the shipping table in Zones shipping. The weight appearing in checkout comes up different: a product with a weight of 2 (kilos), for example, is shown as 5 lbs. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Merci

In admin, check what the tare weight is (the weight of your packaging).

Yeah, that was the problem, now sorted. Thank you very much.

One last thing though, can you tell me which file contains the "lbs" text so I can change it to "kilos".

Merci encore

The reference to "lb(s)" comes from the shipping module's language definition file.

For example, includes/languages/english/modules/shipping/zones.php, change

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_TEXT_UNITS', 'lb(s)');

to whatever you like, e.g:-

define('MODULE_SHIPPING_ZONES_TEXT_UNITS', 'Kg(s)');
