seanhussey Posted October 25, 2002 Posted October 25, 2002 Hi everyone, I've purchased the PHP Wrapper for Linkpoint, and I have looked at the Linkpoint mod in the Contributions section of the site. However, the files provided in the tar file that Linkpoint gave me do not match anything mentioned in the installation text of the mod. For instance, the tar file includes: LinkPoint54_38317RN.pdf LinkPoint_38317.pdf Readme.txt checkLPAPI-check-linux_5.2.tar.gz checkLPAPI-check-linux_6.0.tar.gz periodicLPAPI-pb-linux_5.2.tar.gz periodicLPAPI-pb-linux_6.0.tar.gz sslapi-linux_5.2.tar.gz sslapi-linux_6.0.tar.gz The last file seems to be what I want, but when I untar it, I get 3 directories: certs: testcert.pem lib: libssl_client.a src: ERRATA Makefile api_client.h ccapi_client.h ccapi_error.h ccapi_ordertest ccapi_ordertest.c ccapi_ordertest.o ordertest ordertest.c ordertest.o shipping.h tax.h The installation instructions for the mod talk about these files: .htaccess, lbin, lpphp.php3 and 000000.pem I don't see any of those except for the .htaccess, and that came from the mod. Am I working with the right files? I paid the $95, but I don't seem to have the files everyone else is talking about. Thanks very much, Sean
seanhussey Posted November 6, 2002 Author Posted November 6, 2002 Wow, no thoughts on that? I'll keep plugging, I guess. Thanks anyway! Sean
wasson65 Posted November 14, 2002 Posted November 14, 2002 I'm also working on setting up Linkpoint today. There is a free download section, and I think you got the free file which desc instead of the pay-for PHP wrapper. I'm buying the wrapper right now and I'll keep you posted on progress. Mozilla downloaded my wrapper as text so I couldn't untar it, but their support guy is emailing it to me - they were very nice about the situation. The wrapper you buy is platform specific, although the support guy said if I had the wrong platform just let him know and he'd send me the right one. So, we'll see how it goes....
seanhussey Posted November 14, 2002 Author Posted November 14, 2002 That would be really helpful, thanks. I thought I got the right one--I even had them email it to me. I'll have to check everything again. Thank you! Sean
wasson65 Posted November 18, 2002 Posted November 18, 2002 You need both the free downloaded file and the $95 file The file I got from Linkpoint for $95 was titled: 54_lphp_linux.tar It contained 2 files: 54_lphp_linux52.tar 54_lphp_linux60.tar I used 54_lphp_linux60.tar In that file, the files you care about are: lbin lpphp.php3 The free download from linkpoint is what you have already. use the certs/testcert.pem instead of the 000000.pem file The guy at Linkpoint that I've been talking to is named James Fitzgerald, and his email is [email protected]. He was very nice about sending me the files. He sent me the 54_lphp_linux.tar file. The file you have is the free download part. Contact linkpoint and they should send you the right file. Tim
Guest Posted December 29, 2002 Posted December 29, 2002 I have all the files but am would like a heads up on how to make work with oscommerce. Any help greatly appreciated.
wasson65 Posted December 30, 2002 Posted December 30, 2002 I have all the files but am would like a heads up on how to make work with oscommerce. Any help greatly appreciated. There are now two linkpoint contribs. One uses the recently revamped Linkpoing Basic interface. The other contrib requires the use of the $95 linkpoing wrapper and the binary file they give you. I used the latter one, since that's all that was available at the time. It had reasonably good instructions that I used to get mine going. Tim
mrjones Posted March 30, 2003 Posted March 30, 2003 I've been using the LinkPoint basic contribution and am now trying to install the Linkpoint API module with the PHP wrapper. I uploaded everything, followed all of the instructions, and tried to test it with an order. When I click on the submit order button, it redirects me back to the store login page, no error messages or anything, so I don't even know if it tried to process the credit card. Any ideas? :?: MrJones
Guest Posted May 20, 2003 Posted May 20, 2003 darin, did you manage to fix this? I am having the same problem, redirecting to the login page. Thanks kevin
mrjones Posted May 21, 2003 Posted May 21, 2003 Kevin Nope, never had any response or help from anyone. So I went back to using the LinkPoint Basic for now. But as you probably already know, LinkPoint Basic continues to be quite a pain. Darin
Guest Posted May 27, 2003 Posted May 27, 2003 I figured out what the problem was with my site... The permissions on catalog/includes/linkpoint/lbin were set incorrectly which somehow caused the login page to be redisplayed. Once I set the permissions correctly, everything worked fine. Its a shame a error message wasn't displayed to point me to this.
mrjones Posted May 28, 2003 Posted May 28, 2003 Kevin What are the exact permissions you set on the catalog/includes/linkpoint/lbin directory? I'd like to give it another try since you got it to work. Thanks! Darin
