As far as I know, you can't. You can come close but the product ID is needed to identify the product. The name is just for people to read. So you can have a url like www.geekfitters.com/productname-p-34.html.

it is not that you can't, but you got to do extra data processing to get your product based on your product name that retrieved from the url. it might be easier for data retrieval to have extra column in product table to hold the url value as: product_name.html or product_name.
